Pride marches at OSSAA Regional Contest

The Pride of Pocola traveled to McAlester on Wednesday, October 23 to compete in the OSSAA Southeast Regional Marching Contest.  35 bands from classes 2A, 3A, and 4A attendend this contest to receive assessment from 3 adjudicators for the execution of marching and playing skills. For their field performance, the band received an Excellent Rating. 

The PHS Color Guard also competed in group and solo events as part of the OSSAA Color Guard Solo and Ensemble Competition. Our students received the following ratings:

PHS Color Guard - Ensemble Performance - SUPERIOR RATING

For their superior rated performances, the color guard members will travel to Lawton on Wednesday, October 30, to compete in the Lawton Superior Color Guard Contest.
